Breakages and leaks are a major concern for energy companies' continuity-of-service and safety record. That's why we've been contracted by various energy providers to carry out surveys and maintenance of powerlines and gas pipelines throughout NZ.
Helping Energy Providers Stay Safe
PHL have been contracted by various energy providers to carry out surveys and maintenance of powerlines and gas pipelines throughout New Zealand for continuity-of-service and safety.
Detection Key To Prevention
Pipeline and powerline breakages and leaks can result in loss of revenue, are a potential danger to the public, and can cause major environmental damage.
So, to ensure pipeline safety and reliability, aerial surveillance inspections are to conducted monthly to ensure continual integrity of the lines.
Our surveillance inspections can also detect if there are dangers to lines from nearby hazards and potential threats to powerlines and pipelines from third-party construction, drainage or other works, or infringing trees and plant life.
Powerline Maintenance & Cleaning
As well as providing surveying services for energy companies, PHL also carry out maintenance such as powerline cleaning. We have the experience and equipment to tackle the intricate work that is the cleaning of pylons.
Trusted By Leading Energy Companies
Our pilots have a strong working knowledge of the terrain New Zealand's key pipelines and powerlines run through. This, combined with a good understanding of the local conditions, has ensured many a successful survey by PHL.
Additionally, our aircrafts' GPS system records every flight, measuring all metrics and documenting comprehensive information of the route flown, which is then provided to the survey client for analysis purposes and record keeping.
